Staying true to the brand’s impartiality, Dr. Wonnacott has never profited from drug company alliances, feeling like it could influence her perspective or recommendations. We offer hundreds of articles and parenting tips.

Experience

Dr. Wonnacott’s most valuable experience comes from living what she advises as a mother of four children. She has seen thousands of children over the past 15+ years of practicing pediatrics.

Volunteering

Dr. Wonnacott serves on on the board of Philippines Humanitarian and is a former member her children’s school board. She also volunteers regularly in her children’s classrooms.

Leadership

Dr. Wonnacott has served as Pediatric Department Chair and on the Medical Executive committee of Riverton Hospital. She also trains students and residents in pediatric rotations.

Dr. Wonnacott has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, ModernMom, and Lightworkers.com. International work includes a study presented to the 10th International Congress on Obesity in Sydney, Australia.

Education

Residency training at The University of Nebraska/Creighton University/Children’s Hospital of Omaha. Medical school at St. George’s University School of Medicine.

Certifications

Board certified with the American Academy of Pediatrics, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS).

Why Pediatric Answers?

When Dr. Wonnacott started Pediatric Answers a decade ago, she was meeting the need for reliable, scientifically sound, practical information for her patients. In practice, she continually encountered the same problems, but didn’t have the bandwidth to solve it. After her youngest turned 1 year old (and started sleeping through the night), Dr. Wonnacott decided the time had come to finally expand the reach of Pediatric Answers and start making solutions to those problems. An idealist at heart, Dr. Wonnacott believed that by creating a different kind of community and enlisting amazing parents, together they could change the world, one kid at a time.
